Shooting range
It was arranged in an artificially built ravine on a track bed previously used to transport the spoil from the opencast lignite mine “August” existing in the 19th century in this part of Blumberg. There is still a concrete shelter which is part of the shooting range. At first it was used by the Germans, then probably it was used by Russian soldiers accommodated in the nearby house (Russian inscriptions from World War II were discovered on its walls), and finally during the People’s Republic of Poland the shooting range was used by members of the Rural Youth Association.
